Custom Residential Sprinkler System at Walton Street, Aylesbury

The Brief

In collaboration with Sheen Lane Developments Ltd and SILVERLINE ARCHITECTS LIMITED, Sprinklers direct designed and installed a custom residential sprinkler system for the Walton street development.  The building benefited from Permitted Development and Full Planning for conversion and extension.

The project consisted of 157 apartments near Aylesbury Station.

Formerly known as Building 3, Bear Brook Office Park, the original office building was designed in a modern style comprising a dominant red brick frame enclosing extensive glazing. The development involved external alterations, conversion and extension into residential flats, including new façade treatment, fenestration and roof cladding, new entrance canopies and cladding, Juliet balconies and balustrading and privacy screens to enclose private terraces.

The installation of the custom residential sprinkler system required careful consideration of aesthetic elements and unique architectural features, such as the pitched ceilings on the 5th floor. The installation includes over 1,100 sprinkler heads and eight monitored valve sets. This marks another successful project for our valued repeat clients.
