This fire sprinkler installation in the North West of England relates to a purpose-built disabled bungalow to house 4 residents with staff accommodation.

Our design was for a retrofit sprinkler system to provide full cover to all areas with extended cover into the loft. The system required a dedicated pump and tank which was to be located in the garden along the gable wall away from the patio area. The tank being 4500 litres with a matching insulated GRP pump housing.The pipework to the outside is trace heated and lagged for frost protection.

The system has a loop design to reduce the hydraulic pressure for the system. The system has its own dedicated alarm panel and sounder.

This was installed with full occupancy of the home with residents and staff working with us to achieve a speedy and safe installation. The heads and pipe where all installed from the loft space to keep a clean concealed finish with exposed heads and pipe to the loft that was also lagged.
